Typhoon

The Dance of Water and Gravity

“Typhoon is a desktop sculpture born from my fascination with how water clings to surfaces—especially how it flicks up the back of a wheel, defying gravity as it dances along the surface. This curious phenomenon led me to think about the interplay between gravity, waves, and the natural world. The way water moves—fluid, unpredictable, yet beautifully controlled—served as the inspiration for this piece.

With Typhoon, I wanted to capture that dynamic, fleeting moment—the way water is both held in place and pushed to new directions by force and gravity. It’s about the tension between nature’s flow and the forces that shape it, frozen in a single, fluid form.”
